GT Day of Sport Fall 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Global Technology (GT) Day of Sport activation at the Atlanta Technology Center (ATC). This was more than a walk—it was a shared moment to celebrate what it means to be an athlete at Nike. Together, we took on Stone Mountain: 9,000 steps, 2.5 miles, and 1,686 feet of elevation. Along the way, we leaned on each other—offering support, encouragement, and motivation to reach the summit as one team.A special thank you to our teammates across Product Innovation, CIS, Infrastructure Engineering (IE), Resilience & Enterprise System Engineering (RESE), Foundational Platform Engineering (FPE), Marketing Technology (MarTech), and Converse for showing up and showing out. Your energy and commitment made this day one to remember. This was a reminder that sport is not just about performance—it’s about community, resilience, and the power of moving together.

JDI Day Atlanta

On June 26th, 2025, the Atlanta Technology Center celebrated Nike, Sport, and the spirit of competition during our JDI Day. We honored Nike’s commitment to sport by bringing together teammates from Retail Operations, Footwear Product Testing, Converse, and various Global Technology domains including Geo’s & Marketplace Experiences, Supply Chain & Planning, Data Analytics Intelligence, and Foundational Technology & Services for a day in Shirley Clarke Franklin Park.

Seeing the smiles, witnessing the friendly but fierce competition, and experiencing our athletes* embodying “Winning As a Team” was very rewarding. Red Light/Green Light, Tug-of-War, and a Kickball Tournament allowed the Atlanta team to test their strength and endurance. These moments reinforce the power of community and shared purpose in a large global organization.

ATC Holiday Toy Drive

Let’s bring “the gift of sport” and combine your love for technology by donating a new unwrapped gift to less fortunate children in our community.

Tis the Season of giving! For over seven decades, the Program has evolved and grown exponentially having delivered hope and the magic of Christmas to over 281 million less fortunate children. Now, in their 76th year, the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program also provides year-round support to families experiencing challenges and exceptional circumstances. The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.

Let’s bring “the gift of sport” and combine your love for technology by donating a new unwrapped gift to less fortunate children in our community.

The ATC Toy Drive will run from November 28th – Dec 19th .

How can you support this great community initiative?

By donating an unwrapped toy that promotes activity or STEM. This can be a sports ball or equipment (i.e., soccer ball, jump rope, baseball glove). Another gift idea is a toy that promotes learning and STEM. (i.e., crossword puzzles, Legos, Sudoku).

Remember, your gift choice must be NEW and UNWRAPPED.

ATC Star Metals Building Opening

Dear Teammates,

This is an exciting time – in September, we start working together at Atlanta Technology Center’s new home located at the Star Medals Building in Atlanta, Georgia.

Global Places and Services (GPS) has designed an incredible space for all our future creations. Our new location will allow us to unlock creative, collaborative forces and accelerate our ability to win as a team. In support, ATC is set to become an Activity-Based Workplace (ABW) with a variety of spaces and services that accommodate varying work styles and needs.

Standing up our permanent location has been an amazing process. The current timeline has us moving into our new office this September. Ahead of our move into the new space, you can expect more project updates, a welcome guide, an open house and events designed to enable peak performance as a team. Please keep an eye out for critical communications and take note of the following dates:

As we head into FY24, the DWO Program team would like to use this as an opportunity to thank all our partners across the Technology Centers, Enabling Functions, Technology and BOE Teams. In our recent Global Employee Meeting, John Donahoe noted, "we are at our best when we lead with world class teamwork."

On behalf of the DWO Program, we say thank you to our cross-functional partners who helped to move the needle forward in FY23 and look forward to new opportunities in FY24. Throughout FY23, collaboration was a major component to our success as we hit several key activation milestones and accelerated Digital Transformation strategy.

In our DWO FY23 Annual Report, the Program Team and Sr. Site Leaders take an opportunity to reflect on progress over the last year. At DWO Technology Centers, Sr. Site Leaders are onboard at all locations to drive office strategy and build local community partnerships. The Atlanta Technology Center (ATC) long-term office build activation kicked off, and the Bay Area Technology Center (BATC) and Innovation Studio went live. In China, India, and Poland each Technology Center moved from activation to operationalization.

Looking ahead to our FY24 strategy and goals, collaboration remains at the core. Global partnerships empower us to shift FTE and ETW labor ratios, unlock workforce value at Technology Centers, and expedite capability delivery and innovation. The latest DWO Quarterly Business Report (FY23 Q3) is available.

As our Tech Centers deliver business results to advance Global Technology’s digital transformation journey, the Distributed Workforce Offense Program Team continues to focus on elevating critical DWO and Tech Center data.

Our DWO Quarterly Business Report (QBR) is designed to showcase the operational progress made over the last quarter at each Tech Center. We recently partnered with each Tech Center’s Site Ops team to gather key metrics via the DARTboard and worked with local teams and Sr. Site Leaders to capture additional context on strategy and look ahead to Q4 developments.

DWO QBR data allows leaders and key stakeholders to make strategic operational and hiring decisions as teams continue to increase business delivery and leverage value at DWO locations. We are thrilled to report strong operational progress during the last quarter at each Tech Center and share highlights from our latest DWO Quarterly Business Report (FY23 Q3):

Today, I am thrilled to announce that Nike is opening a Technology Center in Atlanta, Ga. We chose Atlanta because of its strong connection to sport, as well as the city’s wealth of skilled and diverse tech talent – in both the private and public sectors – and all the great universities in the region.

As part of this new office, we’re launching three Centers of Excellence focused on disciplines that are particularly strong in the region:

Logistics & Supply Chain to accelerate Nike’s digital-first supply chain strategy
Cybersecurity to establish an East Coast Cybersecurity Command Center
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to reimagine consumer experiences
